ACTIVITIES

While the role of PAGS continues to be defined, we have found the following activities benefit students and families:

Social Gatherings include:

• ice skating party
• cookout and pool party
• more to come!
  

Advocacy includes:

• keeping parents aware of state-sponsored gifted education programs and funding
• representation at NKCSD Board Meetings
• recognizing district policies that assist and/or detract from gifted education

Four General Meetings are announced by email and a flyer sent by backpack mail.  Dues are not mandatory to attend meetings.  PAGS gladly hosts periodic meetings for anyone who is interested in attending.  Meetings include:

• guest speakers;
• topical workshops;
• updates regarding progressive programs and motions by the district for advanced ability education, including International Baccalaureate.
